MS. SAMANTHA
Speech Language Pathologist
Samantha is a pediatric speech-language pathologist primarily serving the early intervention and preschool population. She received her Master of Science in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from New York University in January 2020.
She is bilingual, Spanish-English, and likes being able to bridge the language gap for Spanish-speaking families. She enjoys providing teletherapy services and challenges herself to create individualized sessions and empower parents to create language-rich environments for their kids.
MS. MAHALA
Speech Language Pathologist
Mahala is a certified trilingual (English/Spanish/Italian) speech-language pathologist. She has been practicing since 2018 in school settings and pediatric clinics. Mahala enjoys working with toddlers, preschool, school-age and young adults. She has experience working with a variety of speech and language disorders, as well as accent modification training. Mahala specializes in working with bilingual/multilingual children from a variety of cultural and linguistic backgrounds. She has had the opportunity to practice in multiple countries, including the United States, Germany, and Guatemala.
Mahala was born in Madison, Wisconsin, and has lived in many places worldwide. She enjoys hiking, diving, reading, and traveling. She is often learning new languages to help communicate with more people around the world.
MS. KYLER
Speech Language Pathologist
Kyler is a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist with four years of experience in school-based settings, supporting students with autism in self-contained classrooms. She earned her bachelor’s degree from California State University, East Bay, and her master’s degree from San José State University. Kyler is licensed by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
She is passionate about working with the pediatric population and their families, and has experience implementing a holistic, play-based, and family-centered approach to therapy. Her areas of interest include early intervention and Autism.
In her spare time, she enjoys fostering kittens, reading, and spending time outdoors with her animals.
MS. KATHYE
Speech Language Pathologist
Kathye finished her bachelor’s degree at the University of Massachusetts and her Master’s degree at California State University East Bay. She had the opportunity to work in California, Massachusetts, and Texas in public schools, private clinics, and home health settings. She also mentored speech-language pathology assistants and graduate clinical fellows.
Kathye is licensed by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. Her areas of interest include bilingualism, early intervention language development, articulation, phonology, fluency, alternative augmentative communication, developmental delays, social pragmatics, and sensory issues.
In her spare time, Kathye enjoys listening to music, dancing, painting, and spending time with her family exploring mountains and beaches in California.
MS. VANESSA
Infant Development Therapist
Vanessa has worked in early childhood education for the past six years. She loves supporting the growth and development of children from birth to five years old. She obtained her degree from CSU Fresno and focused on creating intentional, play-based curriculum that promoted curiosity and exploration. Vanessa believes that a child’s success is through a strong partnership between educators and families. She loves collaborating with parents to help gain insight into their child’s strengths and interests. This teamwork helps us achieve and celebrate milestones in an environment where every child truly thrives. Outside of work, Vanessa enjoys being active outdoors, spending time with family and friends, singing, and playing with her dog, Nala.
MS. JASMINE
Infant Development Therapist
Jasmine taught preschool at TAFB before joining Help Me Grow Solano as the Development Screener. She earned her Master’s in Education while teaching. Jasmine speaks English and Spanish, but she also likes to believe that she is fluent in “Toddler.” In her personal time, she loves to travel and get outdoors with her dogs.
MS. SADIEE
Infant Development Therapist
Sadiee Morales is a bilingual professional with over 15 years of experience working with children and families. Her background as an educator has provided her with a strong foundation in child development, learning, and early childhood support.
Sadiee is currently expanding her career as a Child Development Therapist, where she continues to support children’s developmental, emotional, and social growth through a compassionate and individualized approach. She is fluent in both English and Spanish and is committed to providing culturally responsive care that meets the unique needs of each family she serves.
She values empathy, professionalism, and maintaining a positive attitude, creating a supportive and engaging environment for both children and caregivers.
Outside of her work, Sadiee enjoys spending time with her family and friends, which helps her stay grounded and connected to her community.
MS. CONNIE
Infant Development Therapist
Connie believes that every child is unique and thrives in a stimulating, warm environment. Her professional approach is fueled by positive energy and a commitment to open communication and collaborative partnerships with caregivers. To further support our diverse community, she is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, allowing her to provide clear guidance and advocacy for a wide range of families as they work together to support each child’s potential.
Outside of her professional work, Connie stays active and enjoys jogging along the Iron Horse Trail. She also finds great joy in the kitchen, where she loves cooking and sharing meals with her family.
MS. MICHELE
Occupational Therapist
Michele is a board-certified pediatric occupational therapist specializing in sensory processing and integration. She graduated from the University of Alberta’s Rehabilitation Medicine program and has over 2 decades of experience working with children aged 2 to 22 in a variety of settings. Michele values a holistic approach involving family and caregivers in their natural environment. Her experience spans Harlem’s Spanish-speaking elementary students and prestigious non-public schools, including early intervention and clinical settings.
Michele has recently studied Universal Design, Social-Emotional Learning, and trauma-based therapy approaches. She has strong skills in assessing and treating children with developmental delays through play and evidence-based interventions.
MS. LAUREN
Occupational Therapist
Lauren is a pediatric occupational therapist who has been practicing since 2021 and is passionate about supporting infants, toddlers, and their families through early intervention. She has experience providing services working in natural environments to support development through play and daily routines.
Lauren uses a child-led, strengths-based approach to support fine motor skills, sensory processing, and early self-care. She is trained in the SOS Approach to Feeding and has a special interest in feeding development. She values collaborating with caregivers and providing practical strategies that can be easily carried over into everyday life.
MS. KAREM
Founder & Clinical Director | Speech-Language Pathologist
Karem (pronounced “Keh-rum”) is a bilingual English/Tagalog speech-language pathologist with more than 15 years of experience working with children and families across early intervention, school, home, and clinical settings. She earned her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from California State University, East Bay and her Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology from the University of the Philippines Manila.
Her clinical interests include early language development, autism, articulation and phonological disorders, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, and caregiver coaching. Karem holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is a multiple ASHA ACE Award recipient.
She especially enjoys partnering with families of young children and helping caregivers feel confident supporting communication in everyday routines.
Advanced Training: Hanen® programs, PROMPT, DIR/Floortime, Natural Language Acquisition, Learn Play Thrive, and introductory orofacial myofunctional therapy.
Outside of work, Karem enjoys traveling, trying different cuisines, listening to audiobooks, and spending time with her family.
MS. JESSICA
Executive Assistant
Jessica is a Certified Healthcare Virtual Assistant and is often one of the first friendly faces or voices our families connect with. She answers calls, responds to questions, and helps families with administrative needs, allowing our therapists to focus their time and energy on providing meaningful, high-quality therapy to the children we serve.
Jessica genuinely enjoys helping others and is passionate about making each family feel heard, supported, and cared for. She brings warmth, integrity, and dedication to her role and strives to create a positive experience for every child, parent, and team member she interacts with. She also assists with insurance billing and works diligently to address families’ questions and needs promptly and thoughtfully.
Outside of work, Jessica enjoys baking with her baby girl and going on road trips with her family. She treasures spending time with her loved ones and creating special memories together.
MR. EMMAN
Billing & Credentialing Specialist
Emman is a Healthcare Virtual Assistant who supports the administrative and operational needs of SpeakABLE. With a strong sense of responsibility and a passion for supporting others, he plays an important role in keeping the clinic’s day-to-day operations organized and running smoothly. His work includes client communication, insurance coordination, billing, scheduling, referral management, and other administrative responsibilities.
Emman works closely with therapists and staff to coordinate various aspects of clinic operations and ensure that important tasks, information, and follow-ups stay on track. He also contributes to SpeakABLE’s social media content, helping the clinic stay connected with families and the community. Emman values teamwork, organization, and dependable support, helping create a smoother experience for both the SpeakABLE team and the families they serve.
